Since 2011, the Liberec DGS foundry has been using the extensive PATRIOT® production information system with many customer modifications for production and maintenance management, which includes:
Monitoring of production operations – production routing,
FRS rapid response system – monitoring and reduction of downtime,
Internal logistics support – traceability of the production flow including a specific submodule for casting mold management, traceability of individual parts using QR codes,
Operational production planning and visualization,
Maintenance management module.

The MES PATRIOT® system has contributed to the company primarily to:

• reducing inventory differences in the order of hundreds of thousands to millions of CZK per year
• saving time when searching for a specific package in the warehouse and in production
• reducing downtime on production machines by using FRS
• improving operational planning of work on individual machines by visualizing the “queue” of production orders
• increasing the quality of maintenance records
• increasing competitiveness in the automotive market by implementing traceability of individual parts using QR codes.

The MES PATRIOT® system has been extended to the newly opened plant in Frýdlant in 2022.
